The Little Yellow House can be found in historic Penryn, Cornwall. Founded in 1216, Penryn established itself as a key harbour town long before its larger neighbour Falmouth came along.
Growing in popularity the town has seen many changes and improvements over recent years including the development of new shops and cafes like The Little Yellow House.
The town has a wonderful mix of Tudor, Jacobean and Georgian buildings, and following a recent period of conservation has seen many of these buildings brought back to their former glory. Add to this the wonderful views of the river then Penryn is definitely worth a visit.
If you're coming by road from Truro then take the A39 towards Falmouth, turning left onto the B3292 at the Treluswell roundabout signposted Penryn. If you're coming from Helston then take the A394 towards Falmouth, turning right onto the B3292 at the Treluswell roundabout signposted Penryn.
Penryn can be reached via the Maritime Line from Truro to Falmouth. The town is a five minute walk from the station. Turn right out of the station, then left at the top. Following this road will bring you straight into the centre of Penryn and you'll see the wonderful view of the river as you get closer.
